This post will show you a few simple nail art designs for beginners. It doesn’t have to be difficult or time consuming, especially with these tricks you can use for really easy nail art.
Some nail art basic designs can be made with a few brush strokes or dots. Keep reading for some videos of nail art designs for beginners and links to other posts with design ideas.
An example of one of these simple designs of nail art is the Newspaper Print Nails look, you don’t need to buy any extra nail art supplies to be able to make this design. I’ve written easy to follow step by step instructions at a previous post which even gives you a few variations to the nail art newspaper print look.
Here’s a youtube nail art video which shows you how to create this great look. These polka dot nail art designs are gorgeous and are so easy to attempt at home.
These dotting tool nail art designs are fun and easy to try out. With a nail art dotting tool you can go polka dot crazy and create dots in different colours, dots of different sizes. Check out the nail art tutorial on my Japanese nail art post for instructions on how to make your own cute panda nails.
Here’s another easy look you can complete with this youtube nail art designs tutorial – I love the look of plaid on the nail. Plaid is one of the easiest nail art patterns for beginners to create at home if you’re not the creative type.
One classic look that doesn’t have to be difficult to do is the French Manicure. It doesn’t have to be the as simplistic as nude nails and white tips. It can be a cute nail art design for beginners to attempt to do even if you don’t have a steady hand.
You can combine it with stamping nail art to add some extra detail to it. You can even cheat at doing the tip by using a stamper (you’ll have to watch my how to video on my stamping nail art post to know what I’m talking about). Or if you prefer a square tip you can use the idea suggested in the video above by using cello tape to make it easy to paint perfect lines on your nails.
Try this French manicure modern look. Adding some zebra stripes makes it such a fun design to try out. If animal print isn’t your thing, try stamping on some images from an image plate or use nail art stickers. You can add any kind of 3D nail art which will be sure to spice it up a bit.
Don’t let your feet feel left out from all the creative fun, here’s a toenail art tutorial that’s really easy to follow or you can use these nail art patterns for short nails.
If you have some images of simple nail designs please send them in so I can share your nail arts pics with the rest of the readers on this nails art blog. I’d love to be able to share everyone’s ideas of some easy nail art designs and how to do them.
